The New York State Police conducted an enhanced DWI campaign over this holiday weekend. In the Troop C Region, that includes Tioga and Brrome counties, six individuals were arrested on DWI related charges. In one case, Troopers were dispatched to the McDonald’s on Front Street in Binghamton for a report of two intoxicated females causing a disturbance. One of the women drove to the McDonald’s Drive Thru. She then went inside with her mother to complain about their order and caused a disturbance. The driver was arrested and subsequently released to a sober third party.
