The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest following a traffic stop on Clemons Center Parkway near the town of Southport. 30-year-old Justin Smith of Mansfield, Pennsylvania was found in possession of marijuana, a loaded pistol, and a loaded rifle. Smith does not possess a valid pistol permit in either the State of New York nor the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. He was arraigned in Elmira City Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash or $30,000 property bond.
