The Ithaca Police responded to a report of a stabbing on Friday evening at about 6:30PM. When police arrived on North Cayuga Street, they found a victim bleeding profusely from multiple stab wounds to the face and back. The victim was transported to a landing zone and flown to a regional trauma center by helicopter. The victim is reported in serious condition. There were several witnesses, but no suspect information was released. The investigation is ongoing.
