On New Years Eve, the Ithaca Police Department responded to a personal injury accident on North Meadow Street. Police found that a pedestrian was struck by a northbound vehicle, while crossing the street. The accident occurred about 6PM. The pedestrian was transported to a regional trauma center by Bangs Ambulance. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
