A deadly shooting in Elmira is under investigation. City police early Sunday were called to 442 Linden place after neighbors heard shots fired. When police arrived, they found a victim in the passenger seat of a vehicle. EMS transported the victim to the hospital where a doctor pronounced the person dead.
