A New York State Trooper was injured Wednesday when his patrol vehicle was sideswiped by a tractor trailer of I-86 in Corning. The trooper was parked at an accident scene when the collision occurred. The driver of the big rig was identified as 53-year-old Troy English of Buffalo. He was issued several tickets to include Failure to Obey the Move Over Law. English is also wanted in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. He was remanded to the Steuben County Jail. Trooper Jacob Wackowski sustained only minor injuries.
