Johnson City Police are asking for the public’s assistance with tracking down the person(s) responsible for a recent burglary involving stolen older military style rifles.
On 12/19/2019, JCPD responded to a report of a burglary that occurred sometime between Decenber 14 to December 19 in the village. A cabinet at the location (which not released) containing 9 working rifles was forced opened and all 9 rifles were stolen. The rifles are described as US Smith Corona model 03A3 .30 caliber bolt action rifles (Similar to the rifle pictured in this press release).
