Constituents and staff from ACHIEVE of Broome, Tioga and Chenango counties, a chapter of the Arc of New York, meet with Southern Tier assemblyman in Albany to talk about the organization that works to support and enhance the lives of those with developmental and other disabilities in the three counties. ACHIEVE works on skill advancement, inclusion, integration and socialization to ensure clients are able to live their most independent lives possible.

Assemblyman Christopher S. Friend and Assemblyman Clifford Crouch met with ACHIEVE during the organization’s visit to the state capitol.

“I love the collaborative work that ACHIEVE accomplishes with their clients and staff. I always welcome their visit to the Capitol and enjoy discussing the ways New York can support their unique needs and programs,” said Friend. “They are their best advocates and clearly show to others that those with developmental and other disabilities are an asset to our communities.”
