On July 26 approximately 4:17 p.m., New York State Police at Owego arrested Aaron G. Collins, age 32 of Barton, who was wanted as a fugitive from justice from Pennsylvania on attempted criminal homicide charges.
Collins was was located by troopers and deputies from the Tioga County Sheriff’s Department at a residence on Prospect Hill Road in the town of Barton. Collins was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.
Collins was remanded to the Tioga County Jail where he is awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
