Tioga Arts Council (TAC) is pleased to present our first Virtual Home & Building Tour fundraiser. The video tour is available through Sunday, January 3, 2021.
Here’s how it works:
Buy a 30-day video rental, cozy up in your home with loved ones, and enjoy the event featuring the following family homes and locations:
• The Tornatores, Newark Valley
• The Hendricksons, Newark Valley
• Fainting Goat Island Inn, Nichols
• The Tholes, Owego
• The Deis’, Owego
• St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Owego
The rental price is $15 and $10 for TAC Patrons and it’s available until January 3 HERE. (Want to renew your support, or join TAC, and get a discount? Click HERE. We’ll include the discount code in our Acknowledgement Thank You Letter.) Ticket sales are non-refundable and all proceeds benefit TAC.
Interactive Activities
In addition to showcasing this video, we will be sharing:
• “Teddy’s Recipes” a curated collection of recipes from professional retired chef and original owner of Awakenings in Owego, Theodora Welsh.
• “Abbey’s Aperitifs & Cocktails” will also be provided by Abbey Hendrickson; each drink recipe will be inspired by a location and/or family featured on the tour. (This activity is for people 21+.)
Each week, we will feature one of Teddy’s Recipes on Thursday and one of Abbey’s drink recipes on Friday via social media. Participants, in turn, will be encouraged to share pictures of themselves watching the video, making recipes, and having fun.
