Binghamton resident arrested for identity theft, grand larceny in Owego

A 48-year-old Binghamton resident was arrested for identity theft and grand larceny following an incident in the Village of Owego earlier this year.

Jamie M. Levene was charged with possession of a forged instrument in the second degree and identity theft in the first degree, both Class D felonies, as well as a felony count of grand larceny in the fourth degree.

According to the Owego Police Department, Levene was arrested for an incident at a business on Front Street in the village on April 1.

Levene was turned over to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office for arraignment.
