Area residents have a chance to help save lives at a blood drive this week.
The blood donation event will take place at the Tioga Center Baptist Church from 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday.
Residents can sign up to give blood at Schedule a Blood, Platelet or Plasma Donation | American Red Cross (redcrossblood.org).
Anyone who donates blood will receive a $20 Amazon gift card and a coupon from Mario’s Pizza in Owego.
The Tioga Center Baptist Church is located at 99 Halsey Valley Road.
