The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two victims of Sunday’s fatal crash in Watkins Glen.
According to WENY-TV, 55-year-old Manjula Velikanti and 61-year-old Prasad Velikanti were killed when the driver of the car they were in failed to yield to another vehicle in the right of way at the intersection of County Road 16 and County Road 17.
The driver, who is related to the victims, was not injured in the crash. They were summoned to court for allegedly failing to yield.
The driver and passenger in the other vehicle involved in the crash were not hurt.
