One person was rescued on Thursday evening after their hang glider got caught up in trees in Big Flats.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. in the area of State Route 352.
First responders located a person who was stuck 30 feet up in a tree.
Firefighters from Horseheads, Golden Glow and Big Flats helped rescue the person from the tree.
