The Elmira Aviators had to cancel their scheduled game against Rochester on Friday night due to ice issues.
According to the LECOM Event Center, a drop in voltage from the electrical supplier caused the ice plant to shut down in the middle of the night prior to Friday’s game.
Ice making resumed on Friday and the Aviators played a game on Saturday night at the LECOM Event Center.
Ticket holders from Friday night were able to attend Saturday’s game and received a voucher for another game.
