The Ithaca Police Department located and arrested a Florida man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice.
According to police, 28-year-old William John Vanderan Robinson, of Marion County, Florida, was located on the 400 block of South Meadow Street at around 4:50 pm on Tuesday.
Robinson was wanted for felony battery by strangulation out of Marion County, Florida.
He was remanded to the Tompkins County Jail to await extradition.
