The Binghamton Black Bears captured their second straight Federal Prospects Hockey League championship on Friday.
The Black Bears took down the Carolina Thunderbirds by a 5-2 score at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena to sweep the Commissioner’s Cup Finals.
This is also the second straight year the Black Bears beat the Thunderbirds in the finals.
