The Owego Fire Department will hold a work bee Saturday to clean up and repair the Captain Matt Porcari Memorial Pavilion that was recently vandalized in Marvin Park.

Porcari died in the line of duty while fighting a house fire in 2013.

Work includes cleaning off graffiti, replacing lights, repairing broken picnic tables, picking up trash, weed whacking, and planting flowers.

Work begins at noon and any help from the public is greatly appreciated.

Meanwhile, there is a $500 reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the vandalism. Those with information can call the Owego Police Department at (607) 687-2233. Your identity will remain confidential.
