One person was killed and a New York state trooper was injured in a head-on crash in Delaware County on Friday.
According to the state police, an investigation revealed a pick-up truck was traveling southbound on State Highway 28 in Delhi at around 4 p.m. when it crossed into the other lane and into oncoming traffic.
The truck collided with an SUV driven by an off-duty state trooper, who was in her personal vehcile.
The driver of the truck, 71-year-old Roger Hadley, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The state trooper sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to the Albany Medical Center.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
