New York State Electric and Gas is requesting an increase for both electric and gas rates starting April 30, 2026.
NYSEG estimates that these changes will cost average customers $33 more per month for electricity and $34 more per month for natural gas.
As part of its review of these proposals, New York State provides a period for public comment.
