A motorcycle accident shut down part of Interstate 86 East near Owego on Monday evening.
The accident occurred at around 6:12 p.m. on I-86 East between Exits 63 and 64.
The crash shut down both lanes of traffic for several hours. One lane was reopened as of 8:48 p.m.
One person was airlifted to a local hospital from the scene.
No other information has been released at this time.
