The Key Bank branch at the Oakdale Commons has now closed its doors, paving the way for a new Chick-Fil-A.
It was announced over the summer that a Chick-Fil-A would be moving into the location once the bank closed.
The bank shut down on Friday, Oct. 24. Now, the building is expected to be demolished starting on Nov. 17th.
The Chick-Fil-A is expected to be open by the end of next year, but no official timetable has been announced.
The now closed Key Bank branch has merged operations with the Endicott location.
