Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham has signed a $110 million dollar budget after it was unanimously passed by the city council last week.
The budget will slightly lower taxes for both residents and businesses.
Also in the new budget, a new attorney position will be created to improve housing prosecutions and hold property owners accountable.
Overall, the 2026 budget is a slight increase from the $108 million dollar budget in 2025.
