Owego Free Academy is thrilled to announce the return of its annual Career Shadow event on Wednesday, November 19. This initiative offers high school juniors and seniors an invaluable opportunity to gain direct insight into a range of career pathways by connecting with industry professionals from various fields.
The event aims to equip students with knowledge and experiences that support informed decision-making about their futures. By meeting professionals and exploring diverse career paths, students gain a unique perspective on potential opportunities. For an enhanced experience, students will also have the option to visit employers’ workplaces after the event, offering a more immersive glimpse into their daily routines and work environments.

The Career Shadow event will be arranged in a job fair-style setup, allowing students to meet one-on-one with professionals and explore potential career paths. We will also be featuring resources for students heading directly into the workforce upon graduation.
