A Berkshire man is facing charges following a traffic stop.
According to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old David Keener has been charged with resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
During a traffic stop in Berkshire, Keener was recognized as a subject of an arrest warrant issued by the Town of Triangle Court. He attempted to flee on foot before being placed into custody.
Keener was processed and released on an appearance ticket, but was then turned over to the New York State Police to answer for his arrest warrant.
