A historic train caboose that has sat on a Granville Summit family’s property for more than three decades has been moved to a new location.
The Soo Line train caboose has a new home at the Heritage Village and Farm Museum at Alparon Park in Troy.
The caboose was built in 1906 and purchased by Joey and Ella Foust in 1989.
Museum officials are hoping to complete renovations and have the caboose open to the public during the Troy Fair in July.
