Candor woman accused of crashing car while drunk with kids inside

A Candor woman is facing charges after she allegedly crashed a car while driving under the influence with children in the vehicle.

According to the New York State Police, 32-year-old Bianca T. Mann has been charged with three counts of felony aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child passenger less than 16, also known as Leandra’s Law.

The crash occurred on Candor Hill Road on Saturday. A trooper arrived at the scene to find an unoccupied pickup truck against a set of trees. The trooper learned that a passerby gave the driver and three children a ride to a store.

The suspect was located at the Dandy Mini Mart and according to police displayed signs of impairment. She also reportedly failed standardized field sobriety tests.

Mann was issued appearance tickets to return to Candor Town Court.
