Binghamton University student Jesse Findling is moving to the next round of American Idol.
The Long Island native secured a spot in the Top 20 of the latest season with his performance of Photograph by Ed Sheeran on Monday night.
Judges Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie had to cut the group of contestants down from 30 to 20 this week.
Findling made the cut and will now compete in the next round on Monday at 8 pm on ABC.
