Town of Owego residents will be able to dispose of yard waste starting next month.
From April 11th through Oct. 24, Town of Owego residents can drop yard waste at the town’s property located at Kuenzli Road in Apalachin.
The property will be open Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm, weather permitting.
Residents can drop off tree limbs and branches from their yard, no bigger than six inches in diameter. They can also drop off brush, grass, clippings and leaves. All bags must be emptied and taken away.
Tree trunks, roots, large logs, brush from lot clearing, garbage and building materials are not allowed.
