The Village of Owego Board of Trustees has selected a design for the new art installation on North Avenue.
The trustees picked the “Forged by the Water” design by Paulina Garces Reid of Garces Design and Sam Castner of Ironvine Studios.
Forged by the Water is a five-part sculptural installation spanning approximately 100 feet, presenting a walkable timeline of Owego’s evolution.
The cost of the project is expected to be $218,000 and is funded through a DRI grant.
