The abandoned Pizza Hut building in Owego is set to be torn down.
The property is located next to the McDonald’s on Hickories Park Road.
The previous owner of the building was cited by the Town of Owego for multiple code violations in 2023. The owner ultimately donated the property which cleared the way for demolition.
LCP Group of Vestal has been hired to tear down the building.
Work is expected to start as soon as next week.
