Five teens charged with murder in Binghamton

Five teenagers have been charged with murder after the victim in last week’s attack in Binghamton passed away from his injuries.

According to Binghamton Police, two 15-year-olds, two 14-year-olds, and one 13-year-old have been charged with murder in the second degree.

All five suspects are currently being held at a juvenile detention facility in Syracuse.

The alleged attack took place near Carroll Street and Henry Street in Binghamton on April 27.

The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Peter Bennedum.
