Elmira Heights man arrested after burglary in Horseheads

An Elmira Heights man has been arrested following a burglary in Horseheads.

According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, 45-year-old Christopher S. Price has been charged with burglary in the second degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, petit larceny and public lewdness.

Deputies were called to a home on Ohanlon Street on Wednesday for a report of a burglary.

An investigation revealed the front door had been forced open and damaged. Police found Price inside the home and took him into custody.

Price allegedly kicked in a locked door while the resident was home. He is accused of undressing and exposing himself to the resident, who then left the house.

The suspect allegedly took multiple items from the home that didn’t belong to him.

Price was remanded to the Chemung County Jail and an order of protection was issued for the victim.
