One person was killed in a car vs. motorcycle accident in Owego on Wednesday.
According to the New York State Police, the accident occurred just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of State Route 434 and Forest Hill Road in the Town of Owego.
Police said an SUV traveling on Forest Hill Road pulled out into the intersection of State Route 434 into the path of an oncoming motorcycle.
The person operating the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
The driver of the SUV was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
