Two men are facing felony charges following a shooting in Binghamton over the weekend.
According to Binghamton Police, 53-year-old Binghamton resident Stanley A. Degroat has been charged with attempted murder in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon and other related crimes.
Forty-seven year old Binghamton resident Brett L. White has been charged with two felony counts criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and six misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute involving a gun on Sunday morning on Park Avenue in Binghamton.
According to police, Degroat fired a single shot from a handgun at a victim inside the home. The victim’s gand was grazed by the bullet, causing minor injuries.
