A man barricaded himself inside a residence in the Town of Union on Saturday.
According to the New York State Police, the man was taken to a hospital following a standoff that lasted several hours on Campville Road.
State troopers were called to the scene just before 10 am on Saturday for a domestic incident.
The standoff ended peacefully.
The identity of the man has not been released.
State Police said there was no threat to the public during the incident.
