One person was killed and another injured in a car vs. motorcycle crash in Newark Valley.
According to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred at around 4:22 p.m. on Friday, July 17th on Settle Road in Newark Valley.
A motorcycle was traveling north on Settle Road when it went into the southbound lane and collided with a second vehicle.
According to police, Riley J. Ayers, who was operating the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
