Firefighters responded to a fire at Owego Free Academy on Wednesday evening.
According to the Owego Fire Department, the call came in just before 6 pm for an automatic fire alarm in the pool area of the school.
When firefighters arrived they noticed a lot of smoke on the scene.
Owego Fire Chief Eric Hawkins told WEBO that a light ballast caught insulation above the pool entrance on fire.
Firefighters were able to contain the damage to the outdoor area of the pool entrance.
No injuries have been reported from the incident.
Firefighters from Owego, Newark Valley and Campville along with Owego and Tioga County EMS responded to the scene.
