Binghamton University President Anne D'Alleva will outline the university's new Forward Together strategic plan during a public-facing Forum Speaker Series event in downtown Binghamton on Friday.
The rescheduled presentation is scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 225 Water Street. Binghamton University announced the event Thursday in a media advisory.
Forward Together was launched in August as the university's current strategic plan. The university says the plan is organized around five strategic goals and includes an implementation framework intended to guide how those goals move from planning into practice. D'Alleva's Friday presentation is expected to explain that direction and the priorities shaping the university's work.
The program is part of the Forum Speaker Series, which brings university and community topics to a downtown audience. Friday's event had been rescheduled.
The presentation is one of two Binghamton University events planned in the city Friday. Later in the afternoon, the university will dedicate the newly named Couper-Owens Center for Community Schools at its University Downtown Center. That ceremony is scheduled for 3 p.m.
The university's media advisory identifies the DoubleTree ballroom at 225 Water Street as the location for the Forward Together presentation. The event is scheduled to conclude at 1:30 p.m.
