Rae E. Golightly Bryant (93) of Apalachin, NY passed away Sept. 19 2026 at Riverview Nursing home. Rae was predeceased by her husband Bruce Bryant; mother and father Raymond and Alberta (Davies) Golightly, sisters Betty Chandler, Ann Bryant and son-in-law Frank Bird. Rae is survived by daughter Pamela Bryant Bird and sons Scott and Bruce Bryant. Grandchildren Ted Bird and Tammy Bird Williams (Josh). Great Grandchildren Dylan (Karlee) Bird, Cole and McKenzie Williams and great great grandchildren Koralee, Karson, and Maia Bird. Also, a special niece Lori Bryant and nephews Tom and Bill Bryant who she took in and raised at a very young age. Also, special friend Bev.
Born in 1932 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, grew up in Apalachin. Married Bruce in 1950. She worked for Endicott-Johnson as a secretary. Later she worked for Owego-Apalachin Central School District in the cafeteria. Until she retired at age 70. She enjoyed bingo, road trips, a glass of wine, and Sunday rides.
The family will receive friends at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main Street, Endicott, NY on Friday, September 25th from 10:00 to 11:45 AM. A funeral service will begin at Noon. Burial will immediately follow in Riverside Apalachin Cemetery.
