Timothy N. Dunham, known to family and friends as Tim, of Owego, passed away on September 19, 2026, due to injuries sustained in an ATV accident. He was born on December 5, 1979, in Binghamton, and lived a life marked by kindness, friendship, and devotion to the people and pastimes he loved.
Tim was a graduate of Owego Free Academy, Class of 1998, and carried the spirit of his hometown with him throughout his life. He was currently employed as a Front-End Mechanic for Crown-Cork-Seal in Nichols, where he was respected for his work ethic and steady presence. He took pride in what he did and approached his responsibilities with the same dependable nature that defined so many parts of his life.
Above all, Tim cherished time with his family and friends. He is survived by his Mom and Dad, Cynthia and Wayne Crispell; his sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and Brian Smith; their son, Brian Neal Smith; his brother, Ryan Crispell; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his father, Bruce Neal Dunham, and by his beloved canine companion, Diesel, along with his furry friends Binx and Bailey.
Tim had a great sense of humor and a gift for making others feel welcome and valued. He was kind, friendly, and loving, and his smile could lighten anyone’s day. He gave the best bear hugs, and those hugs became one of the many ways he showed how deeply he cared. Whether he was spending time with loved ones around the bonfire, enjoying a good conversation, or simply being present, Tim made ordinary moments feel special. His easygoing nature and genuine heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Tim had a true passion for anything with an engine, a love that stayed with him throughout his life. As an Automotive Technician for many years, he was fortunate to be able to work at a job he genuinely enjoyed. Whether the conversation was about race cars, classic cars, tractors, or anything with a motor, Tim’s face would light up, and he was always happy to share his knowledge, stories, and enthusiasm with others.
He loved riding his ATV and found joy in the freedom of the open trail. He also enjoyed antiquing, always appreciating the stories and character found in older things. A devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers, Tim followed his team with enthusiasm and loyalty.
Abiding with his wishes, a celebration of his life will be held for family and close friends at the convenience of the family.
