A Town of Binghamton search has led to drug and weapon charges, according to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed a search warrant at a home on Hawleyton Road. The sheriff’s office reported finding suspected fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine, along with a loaded handgun, drug-packaging material and cash.
Authorities said two people were arrested and charged. The allegations remain accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
The sheriff’s office published the case in its Sept. 29 activity report.
