Ithaca police are investigating the overnight shooting of an Elmira man early Saturday morning.
Police say Russell Blackman was shot at least three times.
He was driven by private vehicle to the Cayuga Medical Center then transferred to Robert Packer Hospital in Pennsylvania, where he’s listed in serious condition.
Officers say several people were in the area when they responded to the scene, but they were reluctant to cooperate with the investigation.
