Two people escape house fire in Elmira

Two people escaped a house fire on Elmira’s Southside on Sunday afternoon. The fire broke out on the 300 block of Horner Street at around 1 p.m. Two people were able to escape the blaze without injury. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
