Endicott Waste Treatment Plant Receives Grant

The Endicott Wastewater Treatment Plant has received a$1.2 million grant from FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. The funds are to be used to reduce flooding risk and to make improvements to the exterior of seven buildings. Senator Charles Schumer and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand  announced the award on Wednesday.

No Injuries in Campville Crash

There were no injuries when a car went off the road in Campville and started on fire. The accident occurred Wednesday around 8AM on North Cafferty Hill Road. There were three occupants. The car left the road for an unknown reason and hit a tree.

JC Police Place Donated SUV into K-9 Service

Police Identify Victim in Binghamton Accident

The victim of Tuesday’s fatal accident on Hawleyton Road in Binghamton has been identified as 56-year-old Anthony Gawlinski. That accident involved a skid-steer being loaded onto a trailer. An investigation is pending.
