The Faith Christian Church in Apalachin was heavily damaged by flood waters. A nearby creek flooded the church on Beach Road, breaking down one of the doors and inundating the interior. Early estimates are that there was $30,000 to $45,000 in damage.

The Waverly Police have released the identity of the man found dead underneath the Route 220 Overpass. 56-year-old Robert Lunn of Waverly was found dead on Wednesday.The Waverly Police Department continues to investigate.
