Apalachin Lions sponsored Doug’s Fish Fry to Go on Friday, July 16 along Route 434 in Apalachin. Lions want to thank the many local residents and Doug’s patrons for their support by purchasing brooms at the table set up by the Lions at the fish fry. The door-to-door sale of brooms is a large fundraising effort that did not happen last year because of COVID-19.
The Lions provide eyeglasses and hearing aids to needy families, as well as sponsoring Christmas baskets, Back to school programs, Special Olympics and many other activities.
