Girl Scouts to Offer Summer Day Camp Experience for Elementary-Age Girls in Chemung, Steuben and Schuyler Counties


Horseheads, N.Y. — Making new friends and experiencing new adventures is part of the summer camp experience, and the memories made can last a lifetime.

The Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways Council in partnership with The Triangle Fund will give girls in grades kindergarten through fifth residing in Chemung, Steuben, and Schuyler counties, a free Community Day Camp experience August 9-11. The camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, at the Scout House in Hammondsport.

Residents of the tri-county area will need to qualify for the free camperships, by filling out a form (minus the income section) at All attendees, if not already registered Girl Scouts, will need to register and pay for a Girl Scouts membership which is $25.00 for the year. This cost will also be covered by financial assistance using the form link above.
