NYers 30÷ may get vaccines starting Tuesday; 16+ may register for April 6 appointments

New York State today announced Monday a new expansion of COVID-19 vaccine eligibility. Beginning Tuesday at 8 a.m., New Yorkers 30 years of age and older will be eligible to receive the vaccine. Beginning April 6, universal eligibility goes into effect and New Yorkers 16 years of age and older will be eligible to receive the vaccine.

Additionally, the State announced more than 9 million total doses have been administered across all vaccination sites in New York State … 171,419 doses have been administered across the state’s distribution network in the last 24 hours and more than 1.3 million doses have been administered over the past seven days.
