The first day of school for students in the Owego Apalachin Central School District (OACSD) will be Monday, September 14. The OACSD Board of Education (BOE) approved the calendar changes during the BOE meeting Monday, August 10. Watch the meeting on YouTube here: OACSD BOE Meeting 8/10/20 The changes included moving all of the district’s Superintendent Conference Days to be used on September 8, 9, 10, 11. Changing these conference days all to the beginning of the year will provide faculty and staff extra time to learn and train new health and safety procedures and protocols, and prepare for how instruction and content will be provided at each grade level.
